About Us

Welcome to Elgin Audiology Consultants! Thank you for allowing us to help you hear better. We provide patient-centered hearing care for all ages.

We are an independent, family-owned group of Audiology and Hearing Clinics that has been proudly serving our communities for over 30 years. What began with Audiologists David Pfingstgraef and Joanne Parsons providing hearing care at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital has grown into a trusted network of clinics across St. Thomas, Aylmer, Blenheim, Stratford, West Lorne, and London, Ontario.

Over the years, our practice has flourished through long-standing relationships with the University of Western Ontario as a teaching clinic and with the Ministry’s Infant Hearing Program, allowing us to stay at the forefront of hearing science and technology.

After decades of caring for patients and helping shape our clinics into what they are today, Joanne Parsons has now retired. Her warmth, skill, and dedication will always be part of who we are. Looking ahead, Kate Pfingstgraef, David’s daughter, is in her final year of audiology studies at Western and will be joining our team next year—continuing our family tradition of exceptional hearing care.

Today, David works alongside a wonderful team of university-trained Registered Audiologists, each dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate service—the kind of care we would want for our own family members.

At Elgin Audiology, honesty, integrity, and genuine connection guide everything we do. We are grateful for the trust our patients place in us and look forward to continuing to serve our communities for many years to come.

Better hearing isn’t just about sound - it’s about reconnecting with life, with loved ones, and with the moments that matter most.
